One of the most famous works by Spanish composer Joaquín Turina, La Procession del Rocio with Piazzolla’s vision of the Four Seasons of Buenos Aires create a feast for the ears filled with lavish orchestral colors, masterfully combined into the full sound of the orchestra, just like the string instrumental composition with the fantastic Spanish violinist Leticia Moreno. In the second part, symphonic suite from satirical buffo opera The Love for three oranges by Sergei Prokofiev is contrasted with the deeply emotional realization of the recently deceased Georgian composer Giya Kancheli NU.MU.ZU, in which he expresses hope for a world without violence.
